Zanagrams Master

A larger Zanagrams puzzle with twenty-five letters and more paths to untangle. Settle in and take it one word at a time.

How to play

The rules are the same as Zanagrams: follow the bridges between letters to spell words of four letters or more, either by dragging a path or typing your answer. Find all the required words to finish, with optional extra words along the way. Letters stay on the board until every required word that uses them has been found. With twenty-five letters to explore, there is more to take in before the first few words begin to emerge.

Making a start

Focus on one part of the board at a time. Start with an unusual letter or a promising combination near the edge, then follow the available bridges. A short word can be just as useful as a long one if clearing it helps you see the paths underneath.

If you are stuck, revisit your assumptions. A letter you expected to use in a long word might belong to a short one you have overlooked. Trying a different route is often more useful than staring at the same section. The first path explores this approach on the smaller board, and How to play Zanagrams Master explains the larger puzzle in full.

Questions

What is Zanagrams Master?

Zanagrams Master is the larger version of Zanagrams. It uses twenty-five letters joined by bridges, with the same word-finding rules as the sixteen-letter puzzle.

Where should I start?

Look for an unusual letter or a short word near the edge of the board. Clearing one path can make the surrounding letters easier to work with.

Is there a time limit?

No. As in Zanagrams, the optional timer counts up and pauses when you leave. You can show or hide it in settings, and each extra word takes ten seconds off your time.

Is Zanagrams Master free to play?

Yes. There is a free puzzle to play in your browser each day, with earlier boards available in the archive.
