Crowdle
One prompt, ten thousand people, four answers to find. Can you guess what came to mind most often?
How to play
Each daily prompt was put to ten thousand people. Your task is to find their four most popular answers. Start with your first instinct, then think about what other people might say. An answer can fit the question perfectly without making the top four, which is where the challenge comes in.
- You can make as many guesses as you like.
- You have three hints. Each reveals another letter of the next answer.
- Answers the crowd gave outside the top four appear below the grid as close answers.
- Some related answers are grouped together, so you may not need the exact wording.
- There is a new prompt each day, with earlier prompts in the archive.
Thinking like the crowd
Start with the obvious answers. If the prompt asks for a food, think of the foods people would name without much hesitation. For an opposite, try the word that first comes to mind. It is easy to overlook a familiar answer when you are searching for something more unusual.
Hints are useful when you have an idea but cannot quite find the word. Check any close answers too; they may suggest another way to think about the prompt. Finding all four with hints to spare is a satisfying challenge, but they are there whenever you need them. Read Hints left for more advice and How to play Crowdle for the rules.
